AxxonSoft and MICRODIGITAL Inc. have begun technological collaboration

10/22/2009

AxxonSoft has begun technological collaboration with MICRODIGITAL Inc., through which two models of enclosed color IP cameras have been integrated into the Intellect 4.7.6 software package.

The MDC-i4230C camera, equipped with a 1/4” SONY VGA Progressive CCD sensor, provides a maximum image resolution of 640x480 pixels at a rate of 30 frames/second and operates with a minimum illumination of 0.75 lux. The MDC-i4260C megapixel camera contains a 1.3M Micron Progressive CMOS sensor and has a maximum image resolution of 1280x1024 pixels at 15 frames/second and 640x480 pixels at 30 frames/second. The minimum illumination is 2.0 lux. Both models support H.264 and MJPEG codecs, bidirectional sound and C/CS bayonet-mount lenses. They also have an alarm input and a control output as well as an embedded motion detector.

The Intellect 4.7.6 software package supports video with both codecs (H.264 and MJPEG) and in various resolutions, and also supports image quality adjustment. It should be noted that MICRODIGITAL Inc. is one of the first manufacturers to have cameras integrated into Intellect with H.264 support. Sound reception from the camera is supported for the MDC-i4260C model. Support for an embedded motion detector, bidirectional sound and alarm inputs and outputs is planned for the new line of NGP-based products.
